- Overview of impact of blindness and sight loss when studying - challenges & strategies for academics and professionals in a HEI setting.
- Introduction to use of assistive technology to access Moodle and choose appropriate teaching or facilitation methods
- Increase knowledge of good practice and range of resources available to ensure teaching and learning materials are accessible
- We intend to make this workshop as practical and interactive as possible by using role play, case studies and inviting both staff and students to share experiences and good practice
