Do you have a disability, specific learning difference or teach / work with students with disabilities?

Practical help and support for professional services staff, academics and students with using assistive technology, software or equipment or with making your teaching and learning resources accessible.

Every Wednesday 2-4pm term time only starting 10th January 2018 with Assistive Technology Trainers Nicholas Christodoulou and David Forbes.

Do you:

  • Need help using technology for essay planning or proofreading, getting the most out of SOAS site licensed assistive software such as Claro read or Mind Manager? *
  • Want help to convert a file to make it more accessible using file conversion tools and would you like tips to make this quicker and easier using assistive software such as Claro read or Sensus Access
  • Have problems with using your own assistive technology equipment or software?  – Please bring this in for help and advice
  • Want to make sure your documents or teaching materials are accessible?  We can help you to save and format documents/ teaching materials to improve accessibility for all students including those who use screen reading software
