- Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement is the ability to demonstrate the potential to study at undergraduate level. However, programmes may have their own specific requirements, such as, in the case of language-based studies, a proven ability to learn a language.
This certificate is designed for students who already have a good level of competence in Turkish language and do not therefore need intensive language tuition.
Students will be expected to take one language course at a level suitable to their competence, from the following:
- Elementary Written Turkish
- Intermediate Modern Turkish
- Advanced Turkish/English/Turkish Translation
The remaining three courses will be chosen from the Turkish list available in the relevant year.
Course choice is subject to approval by the Department and acceptance by the teacher concerned.
