Scholarship overview
The Histroy of Art & Archaeology & Curating Cultures MA Scholarship includes:
- Full overseas tuition fee waiver for any full time MA Programme in the School of Arts (£23,400)
- An annual stipend of up to £17,609 (Paid in 3x equal instalments)
- Full-time courses only.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria
- This scholarship is open to any new admissions overseas student
- It is desirable that applicants have achieved or are expected to be awarded an Upper Second Class Honours degree (or the equivalent to a non-UK qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Applicants must hold an offer to study one of the mention degree programmes at SOAS by the time the scholarship panel meets
- Applicants must meet the English language conditions of their offer before any payment of this scholarship is released
- Please note that this scholarship does not cover funding for a Pre-Sessional programme
Candidate assessment
- Candidates will be assessed on academic merit by a Selection Panel consisting of three academic members
- Degree result, CV and statement alongside any other relevant information provided in your application be considered to assess eligibility for the scholarship
Scholarship application
Scholarship application deadline
- Scholarship applications must be received by 23:59 (UK local time) on 03 July 2022.
- In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit a complete online application to your programme. Please note that complete applications can take up to 4 weeks to be considered by the Department, although this duration can vary depending on time of year. You should be prepared to wait up to 6 weeks in busy periods.
- You will need to hold an offer for your programme by the time the scholarship panel meet.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Notification of results
Successful candidates will be notified in August 2022. If you have not heard from the scholarship office by this point then please assume your application has been unsuccessful
