Speaker’s Bio

My name is Lin Hsinyi and I currently work for Taiwan Alliance to End the Death Penalty (TAEDP). TAEDP was founded in 2003 and in the beginning, I was leading one of the TAEDP's working groups and then later I became a board member. I have been the executive director of TAEDP since 2007. Human rights is my main concern, I also serve as the board member of the Covenants Watch, Taiwan and the Human Rights Network for Tibet and Taiwan. I hope I can witness Taiwan’s independence and the abolition of death penalty before the end of my life.
