To show how the progressive and the exclusive works

Grammar :

The progressive -sa- implies ‘still/just/not any more’

The exclusive -ka- appears only in the negative as ‘not yet’

    Ugogo: Hawu uyazi, angisaphili kahle. Umkhuhlane ubhokile.

    UThembi: Nkosi yami gogo, ngiyakuhawukela. Sewuye kudokotela.

    Ugogo: Cha, angizange ngoba ngizohamba kanjani?

    UThembi: Awukayi? Ngempela gogo, kufanele uye. Ngizomcela ubaba akuyise kudokotela.

    Ugogo: Ngiyakubonga kakhulu Thembi.

    UThembi: Awume kancane. Ngizomshayela ucingo manje. Ubaba uthi uzokulanda ngo-3 aye kudokotela nawe.

    Ugogo: Ngiyabonga. Ngizomelela ubaba.
