Open (during exhibitions only)

  • Tuesday to Saturday 10.30 to 17.00
  • Thursday 10:30 to 20.00

Our Japanese Roof garden is accessible through the exhibition galleries and follows the same opening hours.

Location

The Brunei Gallery is located between Malet Street and Thornhaugh Street, in the north-west corner of Russell Square opposite SOAS. The Gallery is a five minute walk from the British Museum and is opposite the main entrance to SOAS.

Nearest underground stations are Russell Square, Goodge Street, Euston, Euston Square and Tottenham Court Road.

You no longer need to pre-book a ticket to visit the Brunei Gallery.

Accessibility

The Brunei Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available to borrow on site, our team are happy to assist when requested. 

Entrance 

The public entrance to the Brunei Gallery is located opposite the main SOAS campus. There is a set of stairs to enter and to the right a ramp. 

Galleries

The Brunei Gallery has several spaces on three different levels, the ground floor, upper galleries lower galleries. The Lower and upper galleries are accessible by stairs and a lift. 

Toilets

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet within the gallery, located at the back of the Foyle Gallery on the ground floor.
