About this event
SOAS is excited to be announce Graduation Day 2024 at Friends House, Euston, London on Tuesday 3, Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 September 2024.
This year there will be two ceremonies per day, starting at 10:30am and 2:30pm, with each ceremony lasting approximately 90 minutes. Eligible graduands will receive an email with further details on how to register and what to expect on the day of your ceremony.
Graduation emails are generated from your student record and your alumni account, so please ensure we have an up-to-date email address for you. If you need to update your contact details, please complete it on the Online Student Services Portal.
We recommend that you do not book any travel/accommodation until you receive confirmation that you are eligible to attend the September 2024 graduation ceremonies.

Tickets
You’ll be sent an invitation email inviting you to your graduation ceremony along with instructions on how to reserve your place and buy guest tickets. If you're graduating, your ticket is free and includes access to the post ceremony reception. Tickets for guests are £35 each and include access to the post ceremony reception.
Each graduand can purchase up to two guest tickets for family and friends who wish to attend the ceremony.
Live stream
The livestream of the ceremonies will be available so that friends and family who are unable to attend can join in the celebrations. The stream will be available approximately 5-minutes prior to the start of your ceremony.
Honorary Fellows 2024
The award of Honorary Fellow allows SOAS to acknowledge those who have made an outstanding contribution to the university and its community above and beyond reasonable expectations and over a sustained period of time.
