Description
LexisLibrary is a legal database which provides access to selected full text case law, legislation and journal articles from the UK, EU, US and other selected jurisdictions worldwide. It contains:
Case law
- UK case law from 1220 onwards. (Includes The Law Reports, All England Law Reports and The English Reports.)
- Also includes “CaseSearch” documents providing procedural history, annotations, keywords and summaries for selected cases dating back to 1502
- EU case law from 1954 onwards
- Comprehensive coverage of United States and Canadian case law
- Also includes case law from Hong Kong (1947-), Malaysia (1955-), New Zealand (1958-), South Africa (1920-), Brunei (1955-) and Singapore (1965-)
Legislation
- UK legislation from 1267 onwards. Includes the full, amended text of all Acts that are currently in force and legislation that has been recently enacted but is not yet in force
- EU legislation from 1952 onwards
- Comprehensive coverage of United States legislation
- Current legislation for selected countries (Hong Kong, Malaysia, Canada and South Africa)
Journals
- Contains over 1,000 Journals and Law Reviews published worldwide
- Includes New Law Journal, Journal of Criminal Law , Family Law and Journal of International and Comparative Law
International Materials
- Includes Treaties and Agreements and contains International Legal Materials from 1962 onwards
- Contains International Court of Justice documents from 1948 onwards
