Dr Fatemeh Shams Esmaeili My primary research interest concerns the process of literary production under authoritarian states. I have completed my doctoral project on the dialectic of literature and power with a specific focus on post-revolutionary Iran. My current project addresses the same question throughout the history of Persian literature.
