Guidance for international applicants

Agent representatives support international students with their applicant journey on behalf of SOAS.

This includes providing guidance on best-fit degree programmes, support with completing applications, and offering post-application guidance across topics such as student visas, accommodation, and funding.

Each approved agent listed below is carefully selected by the SOAS International Office and holds a direct contract with the university. This ensures that they are equipped with regular training, resources, and comprehensive knowledge to accurately advise applicants and represent SOAS. Where an applicant enrols through an approved agent, a monetary commission fee will be paid directly to the representative in recognition of services provided.

All applications to SOAS are assessed equally according to our standard entry requirements and criteria. It is not compulsory to apply through an approved agent representative.

If you are considering working with an agent, we recommend reading the Student and Parent Guide to Choosing an Education Agent.

This guide, part of the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF), helps you understand what to look for in an agent, key questions to ask, and how to avoid poor practices. It also links to the National Code of Ethical Practice for UK Education Agents and the British Council’s UK Certified Counsellor Database.
