An Interview with Panpan Yang, New Lecturer in the Arts and Visual Cultures of Modern China Panpan Yang recently joined the Department of History of Art and Archaeology at SOAS as a lecturer in the arts and visual cultures of modern China. We asked her to tell us a bit about herself.
Carlotta Caccia Dominioni Carlotta is part of the Development Studies department, specialising in gender-based violence, forced migration, and humanitarian protection. Her research examines the hidden violence women face in migration, with a focus on the Colombia-Ecuador border. Drawing on her field experience working with NGOs and international organisations, her work seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of migrant women's lived experiences within humanitarian and policy contexts.
Siwei Tan Siwei Tan a PhD candidate in the Department of Development Studies at SOAS, University of London, she explores issues surrounding premarital sex, pregnancy, and abortion in China, with a special focus on the emotional and psychological aspects of reproductive experiences.
Hanee Kang Hanee Kang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Development Studies at SOAS University of London, with research interests encompassing international development aid, aid philosophy, development discourse, postcolonialism, post-colonialism, colonial modernity, postcolonial donors, aid programs utilising national development experiences, and South Korean aid.
