Biography
Alnick Nathan is an MPhil/PhD student in Development Economics at SOAS, University of London.
He holds a BA in Public Policy and Management from Universitas Gadjah Mada and an MSc in Economic Policy from SOAS, University of London.
Alnick’s main research interests are on the issue of economic development, work and employment, labour movement, and critical political economy with a special focus on Indonesia. His current research project is investigating how peripheral capitalist development have shaped the dynamics of labour and employment, particularly on the different forms of precarious work, in Indonesia’s informal economy.
