Biography
I hold a BA (Hons) in English and Related Literature from the University of York and an MSc in Arab World Studies from the University of Edinburgh. My doctoral research at SOAS builds on this interdisciplinary background when looking at contemporary Iraqi literature. It is supported by the Wolfson Foundation.
Research interests
Modern Arabic Literature, Comparative Literature, New Materialism, Medical Humanities, Ecocriticism.
