Biography
Charles is a Teaching Fellow in Law, Bar Scholar, and Social Enterprise Director. He has experience teaching mainly private law subjects—tort, contract, land, trusts—but also criminal law, public law, and legal/political theory.
When teaching, Charles aims to create a stimulating learning environment in which students feel confident to develop their own style of oral communication (i.e. advocacy), as well as instilling excellent research skills, and persuasive legal writing.
Charles brings insights from legal practice to the classroom, as mini-pupil at several leading barristers’ chambers. During university he earned various scholarships and prizes for academic excellence and outstanding achievement. Charles has also been a visiting student at Harvard Law School and participated in events and conferences at Oxford, Yale, MIT, LSE, and UCL.
