Biography

Enrico Pulieri is a macroeconomist and PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at SOAS, University of London.

He has worked as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department at SOAS with Prof. Jan Toporowski, at King’s College London in the Department of European and International Studies, and as a teacher in Macroeconomic Analysis and International Economics. Enrico is Youth Policy Maker for the Italian Government as a Board Member of the Italian Youth Council as delegate for University and Research.

His main research interests include Public Finance and Debt Management, Financial and Monetary Macroeconomics, International Economics, and the History of Economic Thought. His doctoral research focuses on fiscal and monetary policies related to sovereign debt, in particular on the impact of climate change on sovereign debt management in the European Monetary Union and in Asia.

Enrico is also Research Fellow at the SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance and a member of the Japan Economy Network (JEN).
