About this event

Get the lowdown on turning arbitration wins into real cash without the usual legal headaches.

Obtaining an arbitral award is only half the battle. This webinar addresses the practical realities of enforcing international arbitral awards across jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East. The panel will examine enforcement strategies across different legal systems, the interaction between the seat of arbitration and the place of enforcement, and common obstacles including insolvency, asset structuring and multi-entity groups.

The session will also address asset tracing and cross-border recovery, the role of litigation funders, and specific enforcement challenges in Africa – including OHADA-related considerations.
