About this event
Achieving global climate targets and securing a resilient future requires an unprecedented mobilisation of capital.
Standing at the intersection of public policy and private investment, public development banks hold the unique structural leverage needed to bridge this multi-trillion-dollar financing gap.
This event will explore how the global public development bank system can be systematically developed, scaled, and leveraged to expand the financing of climate action and sustainable development.
Leading financial experts, policymakers, and development practitioners will discuss innovative financing mechanisms and strategies to mobilise private capital and consider frameworks for embedding climate resilience into core lending portfolios. Panellists will map out how public development banks can evolve from traditional lending institutions into dynamic catalysts for a green and equitable economic transition.
