About this event
How has media - from print to platforms to AI - reshaped Indian politics, and what does it mean for the country’s democratic future?
Join us at SOAS South Asia Institute for a discussion on Indian Politics: Today and Tomorrow, exploring the role of Indian media from the freedom movement to the digital age. The event will examine how traditional media supported democracy, how social media reshaped political communication, and how AI is influencing journalism and public opinion—and what this means for India’s democratic future.
