SOAS Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Centre (SADRC), in collaboration with RAGAB Law, is delighted to invite you to an in-depth discussion on the role of public policy in international arbitration in the MENA region.

Professor Martin Lau will deliver a keynote based on his publication “The Public Policy Exception and International Commercial Arbitration in the MENA region: A Contextual Analysis” in Arbitration in the MENA (Juris Net, 2022). 

Following the keynote, a distinguished panel of experts will examine the complexities and evolving issues surrounding public policy, legal traditions, and their impact on arbitration across the MENA region.
