Biography
Dr Ioanna Lachana is an Associate Lecturer in Finance & Management in the School of Finance and Management.
Ioanna's research sits at the intersection of empirical asset pricing, behavioral finance, and natural language processing, with a particular focus on how media narratives and investor sentiment influence financial markets. She also co-authors work on gender biases in media coverage of academics, a project that won the American Finance Association - AFFECT and Journal of Financial Economics Proposal Grant.
