Biography
Dr. Steven Knell is the President and Head of Global Content at Energy Intelligence.
There, he leads editorial, research and data practices across the energy transition, oil markets, gas and LNG, risk and corporate intelligence portfolios. A specialist in regulatory and reputational risk management, Dr. Knell has two decades of theoretical and applied expertise in the past, present and future drivers of the global energy system.
Prior to joining Energy Intelligence, Dr. Knell served as a Vice President in Wood Mackenzie’s power and renewables asset valuation, market entry and corporate strategy consulting practice. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Sussex and degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Kent.
