Bonham Carter and Warwickshire House

Overview

Bonham Carter and Warwickshire House is a student hall located in the popular student destination of Bloomsbury, just a 5 minute walk from campus.

The hall is fully self-catered and benefits from the classic corridor style of more traditional single rooms with mixed gender shared bathrooms and toilets (separate shower cubicles that can be locked). You will also have access to a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. It would suit more independent students.

Important notice - Internet restrictions

Please read the details below very carefully as the rooms will have restrictions on the internet provision that they have access to - it is important that you read and understand the limited internet restrictions and provisions and understand what you will and will not be able to do before applying for these rooms.

We would like to highlight at this stage that the Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms at Bonham Carter and Warwickshire House will not offer the efficiency and speed experienced at other Intercollegiate Halls.

Wireless network connectivity is available in most places within the Hall, with very good coverage in the communal and study areas, kitchens, and other open spaces throughout the building. Provision is more limited in the bedrooms than in the communal spaces and while it may be usable, the signal strength and therefore speeds cannot be guaranteed. With limited signal strength available in some bedrooms, mobile phones and tablets may struggle to use the wireless networks.

Laptops and similar devices should mostly be able to connect for study purposes, but this may not be the case in all rooms due to the wireless, the device or a combination of both. There is no provision for the connection of Smart/IoT devices, games consoles, printers and other devices that connect to wireless network’s using only a password.

Virtual tour will be available shortly. You are welcome to book a viewing in advance if you would like to visit the hall before applying for housing.

Bonham Carter and Warwickshire hall is managed by University of London.
