SOAS forges Dual Degree partnership with Korea University

11 December 2020

The School of Finance and Management and Global Engagement Directorate are pleased to announce a new dual masters programme in collaboration with Korea University , one of the country's leading centres of higher learning.

The first programme of its kind between SOAS and a Korean university, the dual degree programme pairs SOAS' MSc International Business and MSc Public Policy, Finance and Management with a suite of masters programmes taught through KU's Graduate School of International Studies.

Commencing in the 2021/22 academic year, the SOAS-KU Dual Degree Programme establishes a unique postgraduate pathway in the fields of international studies, business and management, providing graduates with two Masters degrees through study at each of SOAS and KU.

Dr Ben Hardy, Head of the School of Finance and Management, says:

"We’re absolutely delighted to announce this partnership. It cements a long-standing relationship between SOAS and Korea University; a relationship which spans both research and teaching. It brings together two institutions with truly global outlooks, enabling masters students to have a distinctive international experience. The SOAS MScs in International Business and Public Policy, Finance and Management take an international perspective, drawing on a wide range of examples and practices from around the globe. Students from Korea University will both benefit and contribute to this and we very much look forward to welcoming them to the SOAS family."

Current KU students will be eligible to join the SOAS masters programmes from September 2021 as part of the agreement.
