When submitting your article through your Brill contact, request to publish open access and indicate that you are an author affiliated with one of the eligible institutions.

When your article is accepted, CUP will contact you to fill in the author publishing agreement. Select Gold Open Access.

• Journals included: Hybrid journals. These will say ‘supports open access’ on the journal homepage. There is a 20% discount on fully OA journals. 
• Eligible article types: all types, except book reviews and editorials. 

Elsevier will contact the corresponding author to offer the open access option and ask them to complete the publishing form as part of the 'post-acceptance author journey'.

After acceptance, SciPris will check your institutional affiliation and article type to determine if you are eligible to use the funds. Proceed to request use of the Read and Publish Agreement funds.
