SOAS Research Online
SOAS Research Online is a free, publicly accessible repository of the research outputs of the School of Oriental and African Studies. The SOAS Research Online Policy was last updated in September 2017 and includes information on submission and the scope of SOAS Research Online. SOAS authors should also refer to the
SOAS Open Access Policy (pdf; 80kb)
to check what is required of them in relation to making their research outputs available in SOAS Research Online.
The repository contains both full text papers and records of research carried out by SOAS researchers. SOAS Research Online has become an increasingly important part of the School’s work supporting researchers in meeting Open Access requirements of UK research assessments and externally funded projects. SOAS Research Online is being continually developed and improved to support SOAS researchers in making their research available and meeting funder requirements.
