The Centre for Gender Studies is pleased to announce the appointment of Everjoice Win as Professor of Practice. Everjoice Win is currently International Director for Programmes and Global Engagement at ActionAid.

Professor Olivette Otele has been nominated for both the Lapidus Center’s Harriet Tubman Prize and the Nanovic Institute’s 2023 Laura Shannon Prize for Contemporary European Studies, for her book, African Europeans: An Untold Story.

This year’s SOAS-QFC Islamic Finance Public Lecture and Workshop gathered outstanding luminaries of Islamic finance and jurisprudence (fiqh) to discuss cryptocurrencies from an Islamic perspective and its latest developments in the United Kingdom, MENA and MESEA regions.
