Christophère Ngolele Christophère Ngolele is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at SOAS. His thesis is titled "The Transition from Nomadic to Settled Life among Autochthonous Peoples: The Experience of the Mikaya of the Congo Basin Rainforest in the northwestern part of the Republic of Congo."
Dr Susanne Jaspars Susanne is a Senior Research Fellow at the SOAS Food Studies Centre, and was a Research Associate (RA) at the Centre prior to this.
Professor Carlos Oya Carlos Oya is Head of the Department of Development Studies and is Professor of Political Economy of Development at the College of Social Sciences.
Yan-Han Wang Yan-Han Wang is a PhD Student in the Department of Politics and International Studies. Her research focuses on the resurgence of sex workers' rights movements in Taiwan, and the dialectic between the sex workers' rights activism and anti-pornography feminism in global human rights advocacy, with wider interests spanning gender and politics, law and society, and Taiwan Studies.
Ezgi Gurses Ezgi Gurses is a PhD student in Development Economics at SOAS, University of London, researching the evolving modalities and strategic orientations of emerging donors and their contributions to development cooperation. Her research interests include development assistance policy, the effectiveness of foreign aid, and the political economy of emerging donors.
Professor Fareda Banda Fareda Banda is a human rights lawyer focusing on women and children's rights and a Professor in law at SOAS. She is the author of African Migration, Human Rights and Literature.
