Welcome to our SOAS Inaugural Lectures. This series recognises and celebrates the achievements of our newly appointed professors undertaking research and scholarship of international significance.
The SOAS Inaugural Lectures recognise that research is an integral part of university life, and offers a platform for newly appointed and promoted professors to share their significant contributions to their field while also showcasing the overall strength, depth and vitality of research at SOAS.
We host public lectures throughout the academic year that are free to attend and open to everyone.
