Biography

Jeanne Stampe is the Specialist Leader for Sustainable Finance Disclosures at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, focusing on sustainable finance regulations and supervision, and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Finance at SOAS, University of London. 

She contributes actively to international sustainable finance policy reform through the IOSCO, BCBS, IAIS, NGFS platforms for central banks, prudential supervisors and securities regulators. She has co-authored or contributed to multiple publications on sustainable finance. Between 2011 and 2020, Jeanne was Head of Asia Sustainable Finance at WWF Asia. Jeanne created and led WWF’s Asia Sustainable Finance Programme and was part of the Global Finance Practice leadership team. 

Jeanne helmed advocacy, advisory and capacity building efforts for financial institutions across Asia. She worked with ASEAN banking supervisors to support the development of their sustainable banking guidelines. From 1997 to 2011, she worked in private equity and investment banking in London, New York, Stockholm and Singapore. Jeanne holds a BA (Hons) and MA (Cantab) in Economics from Cambridge University.
