Biography

Marissa Conway is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy and in 2019 was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 List for her work. She is currently earning her PhD in Politics at the University of Bristol and is a member of the Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy initiative.

Marissa has an MA in Gender Studies from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in Politics and a BA in Music from Chapman University in California. Prior to launching the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy, she worked with Freedom House, a safe house for survivors of human trafficking, and consulted as a branding and graphic design creative.

Marissa frequently writes and speaks about Feminist Foreign Policy, feminist nuclear policy, feminist theory, masculinity, and US and UK foreign policy and national security. She has been published by the University of Oxford, Chatham House, Oxfam, and the Turkish Policy Quarterly.
