Biography
Simon completed a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Manchester before starting a research career in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
An interest in problem solving and media led him to change career to Engineering in television and film post production, where for the last twenty five years he has been the technical lead in delivering content for films, TV, VoD and streaming. He has spoken at various symposia, trade shows and industry meetings in both Europe and U.S. and continues to design and configure world-class technology solutions alongside training others and advising organisations on technical strategy..
He recently completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education, UCL, and lectures at SOAS alongside work as a technical consultant in broadcast media.
