Scholarship overview

SOAS will be awarding 10 Home Academic Excellence Scholarships worth various amount to students from around the UK.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the award, you must:

Have applied for an undergraduate degree for September 2026 (the scholarship selection panel will only be able to award a scholarship to those applicants who have received an offer to study with SOAS).
Be a Home/UK fee-paying student.
Have achieved or be predicted to achieve AAB in UK A Levels.

Notification of results

Successful applicants with an offer to study at SOAS will be notified by the end of July 2026.

How to apply

Step one

Apply for your programme. To apply for a masters degree programme, please see the How to Apply for Undergraduate Study pages.

Step two

Apply for the scholarship by 12 noon (UK local time) on 29 May 2026. You must apply for this scholarship via the admissions portal. You will need to have applied for a course to get login credentials for this.
