Biography

Changwei received his undergraduate degree in 'International Relations and Politics' from 'Northumbria University at Newcastle', United Kingdom.

His bachelor dissertation analysed the negative impact of nationalism (major) and historical memories (minor) on the normal development of contemporary (post-1972) Sino-Japanese relations, by taking the "Yasukuni Shrine Issue" as a case study. Afterwards, he enrolled at SOAS, the University of London, to pursue a master's degree in "Japanese Studies"; his master's dissertation comprehensibly re-evaluated the educational rehabilitation and trials of Japanese war criminals conducted by Communist China in the 1950s and its impact.
