About this event
The African Linguistics Research Day is a 1-day event that brings together scholars working on African languages and linguistics across the UK.
The event, organised by African linguists in the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics at SOAS (in partnership with the Centre for African Studies and the Swahili Dialects Project), provides an opportunity for African linguistics researchers to present current research, engage in ongoing conversations in the field, and establish collaborations, with the aim of strengthening the scholarly community of African linguistics in the UK.
