In her 2025 memoir, Frankly, Nicola shares her remarkable journey from growing up in a small town in Ayrshire during the Thatcher years to top job in Scottish politics. Nicola is joined in conversation by Catriona Drew as she reflects on the challenges of politics and political life at a time of great turbulence.

Catriona Drew teaches International Law in the College of Law at SOAS.
