About this event
Join us for an in‑depth introduction to the MSc programmes offered by the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS.
This webinar explores how a postgraduate degree in Politics can equip you to engage with some of the most pressing global challenges of our time, including violence, inequality, justice, human rights, migration, climate change, AI, and diplomacy. You’ll gain insight into how SOAS approaches these issues through a global, interdisciplinary, and critically engaged lens.
Professor Phil Clark will discuss what makes an MSc in Politics and International Relations at SOAS distinctive, highlighting the programme’s academic strengths, its real‑world relevance, and the diverse career pathways it has opened for our graduates across policy, research, NGOs, international organisations, and more.
This session is ideal for Postgraduate Taught students interested in understanding and shaping global political dynamics. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the curriculum, the SOAS perspective, and the community you could be part of.
We are running two sessions of the webinar, in the morning at 10:00am (UK time) and then later in the afternoon at 5:00pm (UK time). Please book for the session that's most convenient for you.
This event is part of our SOAS student webinar series, designed to provide you with all the essential information about being a SOAS student in London. Join us to explore topics like how to apply, secure funding, find accommodation, and enjoy student life once you arrive.
