About this event

Resilience, Memory and Change: Bangladesh’s July Uprising

The July Resolve is a compelling collection of first-hand testimonies from Bangladesh’s July 2024 uprising, when students, workers, and ordinary citizens came together to challenge authoritarian rule and demand democratic change. Through personal stories, visual documentation, and a carefully curated timeline, the book gives readers a rare sense of how resistance is lived, felt, and remembered. For those interested in social movements, postcolonial politics, and South Asian democratic struggles, it offers both a human record of a historic moment and a reflection on the hopes, expectations, and unanswered questions shaping Bangladesh’s future.
