About this event
'A New Look at Old Pots in the Freer Gallery of Art': this lecture presents case studies of select ceramics in the Freer Gallery of Art.
These ceramics are being studied in a cross-disciplinary project (art history, science, and conservation) that will be published as a forthcoming book. Primary authors (alphabetic order) are: Ellen Chase, Blythe McCarthy, Stacey Pierson, and Jan Stuart.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception hosted by the Sir Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art.
