  • Office for Students: information from the higher education regulator, including the list of registered providers.
  • Bar Council (Bar Council website) and Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA website): undergraduate law courses at SOAS are recognised by the Bar Council and the Solicitors Regulation Authority for the purpose of the completion of the academic stage of legal training. See their websites for further information about their accreditation procedures.
  • Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA website): statistical information including performance indicators.
  • Quality Audit and Assurance Agency (QAA website): includes reports of reviews of SOAS by the QAA.
  • Research Excellence Framework (UKRI website): the REF is the system for assessing research excellence in UK universities. Submissions are made to Research England every 7 years, with the most recent being in 2021.
  • Discover Uni (Discover Uni website): information on teaching quality from the National Students Survey and the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
