Professor Arshin Adib-Moghaddam’s book, "The Myth of Good AI: A manifesto for critical Artificial Intelligence" has received a positive review from CHOICE – a world leading platform for academic reviews.
The Myth of Good AI dismantles the “good AI” narrative peddled by tech giants and explores the extent of AI's impact on society. The book asks what implications AI has for our future – across philosophy, medicine, media, psychology, international affairs, economics and politics- while equipping the reader with strategies for survival.

The book published by Manchester University Press and part of the SOAS Centre for AI Futures that Adib-Moghaddam co-directs with Dr Somnath Batabyal and Dr Marcus Gilroy-Ware. The Centre’s core focus explores implications of Artificial Intelligence for countries in the Global South, with a particular emphasis on the traditional SOAS areas of expertise: Africa, Asia and the Middle East. “The Myth of Good AI” is the first book in Professor Adib-Moghaddam's “AI Futures” series.
