Biography
Tongchen Hou is a PhD candidate in South East Asian Studies.
Her research interests include Burmese literature in contemporary periods, cultural and gender studies of Myanmar. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Peking University from 2013 to 2017, with a focus on Burmese language and literature.
She completed her Master's degree in the Department of South East Asia at SOAS in 2019.
Research interests
Modern Burmese literature, cultural studies and gender studies of Myanmar.
