Biography

At SOAS since 2012, Dr Yenn Lee has designed and delivered an interdisciplinary, institution-wide doctoral training programme, convened modules and workshops on research methods and researcher development, and provided one-to-one consultations. 

She also supervises PhD projects at the intersection of emerging technologies, power, and regional culture, and serves on the Doctoral School Management Group, the Research Ethics Panel, and the Research Culture Committee.

In parallel, she contributes to intercollegiate collaborations such as the ESRC-funded UBEL Doctoral Training Partnership, the AHRC-funded CHASE Doctoral Training Partnership, and the Bloomsbury Postgraduate Skills Network.

Dr Lee is also an active researcher in the field of digital cultures and politics, with a focus on South Korea and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
