Embroidery Traditions of Afghanistan

SOAS Gallery is delighted to present Embroidery Traditions of Afghanistan, a new exhibition revealing the rich diversity, skill, and beauty of embroidery from across Afghanistan. The exhibition draws from the Karun Thakar collection, developed in collaboration with the V&A Museum.

Opening hours

Please note that the Gallery will be closed on Saturday 29th August. It will reopen on Tuesday 1st September.

Thursday	10:30am–8:00pm
Friday	10:30am–5:00pm
Saturday	10:30am–5:00pm
Sunday	Closed

The gallery is closed on bank holidays as well as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The gallery is also closed during exhibition changeovers.

The Japanese Roof Garden is accessible through the exhibition galleries and follows the same opening hours.
