Mr Mikkelsen has worked in management of inter-governmental organizations for the past decade. Prior he worked in financial services. Mr Mikkelsen is currently Head of Finance and Strategic Planning at International IDEA.

Brandi Simpson Miller is a Ph.D. student in the History, Religions, and Philosophy Department at SOAS. Her research interests include the foodways of the Gold Coast in the 19th and 20th centuries, and explore the historical basis for the cultural changes in what would later become Ghana in 1957. She holds a Master’s Degree in World History, with a dual emphasis on Latin American and West African History from Georgia State University in the U.S. She currently is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the H110 History of Africa Course

Dr Ploskonka’s research interests over the last 15 years have developed between the intersection of power relations of contemporary art practitioners and the state specifically within the Central Asian region.
