Niki J.P. Alsford is Professor of Anthropology and Human Geography at the University of Central Lancashire and a Research Associate at the Centre of Taiwan Studies, SOAS.

Sharowat Shamin teaches law at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She did her LLM in International Environmental and Energy Law from the University of Oslo, Norway with fully-funded Norwegian Government Quota Scheme Scholarship.
