Sharowat Shamin teaches law at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She did her LLM in International Environmental and Energy Law from the University of Oslo, Norway with fully-funded Norwegian Government Quota Scheme Scholarship. Earlier she completed another LLM in International and Comparative Law and LLB (Honours) from the University of Dhaka.
