Scholarship overview

SOAS is offering five £2,000 scholarships for applicants on the SOAS Online masters programmes commencing in January 2027. 

Eligible programmes

The following SOAS Online programmes are eligible for this scholarship (January 2027 intake only):

Candidate criteria

Applicants must:

  • Have an offer for the January 2027 intake for one of the eligible programmes.
  • Hold a 2:1 (or international equivalent) undergraduate degree.

How to apply 

After you have applied for one of the eligible programmes, you will need to apply for this scholarship via the admissions portal. You will need to have applied for a course to get login credentials for this.

The application form will open on 14 October 2026 and close at 12 noon (UK local time) on 4 December 2026.

Scholarships will only display to students who meet the base eligibility criteria contained in this scholarship advert. If you do not see the scholarship you are hoping to apply for in your admissions portal, please double-check you meet the eligibility criteria. Notification of results

The scholarship panel will review all applications after the deadline closes. Successful applicants will be notified by 11 December 2026.
