About this event

We are delighted to invite our SOAS alumni living or working in the UAE to join our Alumni Receptions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi!

You will hear about the latest developments from SOAS, including our new 2026 strategy, and reconnect with fellow alumni over drinks and canapés.

Each reception will be a unique opportunity of insight and connection and will be joined by a member of the SOAS Leadership team, including Vice-Chancellor Professor Adam Habib and Director of Advancement and Chief of Staff to the Vice-Chancellor Shona Aitken. Each event takes place on the following days:

Dubai: Wednesday 4 February, 7:30pm in The Aviary Room, The Guild, ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai
Abu Dhabi: Thursday 5 February, 7:30pm, the African Lounge, Flamingo Rooms by tasha, The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Global Market Street
