Liu Congyao Liu Congyao’s is a PhD Candidate within the Department of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Her research interests focus on critical discourse analysis, discourse analysis, Covid-19 discourse, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics.

Rodi Yilmaz Rodi Yilmaz is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS, University of London. His research focuses on the social democratic parties in Turkey within the broader contexts of party politics, local governments and democratic backsliding in comparative politics.
